Dennis L. Murray, MD, FAAP

Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society

Dr. Murray is a fellow of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS), as well as many other professional medical societies.

He is a professor of Pediatrics and Chief of the Section of Infectious Disease at the Medical College of Georgia Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Murray has received several teaching honors and served on many medical committees, including the PIDS and Infectious Diseases Society of America’s Public Policy Committees. Dr. Murray has participated in developing many publications for the American Academy of Pediatrics, including the 1997, 2000 and 2003 editions of the Red Book: Report of the Committee on Infectious Diseases. He also conducts clinical research in the areas of public awareness of vaccines and vaccine safety.

Dr. Murray received a B.S. in Zoology and his medical degree from the University of Michigan.
