GlaxoSmithKline Starts Phase III Trials of Herpes Zoster Vaccine

GlaxoSmithKline has started Phase III clinical trials of its herpes zoster vaccine. The trials will evaluate the vaccine’s efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity. Investigators are recruiting more than 30,000 patients worldwide for the study.
