The Connecticut Department of Public Health has confirmed two unrelated cases of measles in Fairfield County involving an adult and an infant. Parents in the Region 14 school district have been informed about the cases. The origins of the illnesses are unknown, but health officials say that the patients developed rashes on Feb. 2 and Feb. 12, and were contagious from four days prior to the rash and four days after the rash disappeared.
