The World Health Organization (WHO) has prequalified Dutch biotech firm Crucell to start selling a new vaccine, developed through its licensed human cell platform, that protects against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, hepatitis B, and Haemophilus influenzae type b in children. The prequalification decision means Quinvaxem will be available for sale to UNICEF and the Pan American Health Organization.
