Rise in MMR Injections
Glasgow Herald (Scotland); 6
Horsburgh, Frances

[06/08/2002]

New statistics show that more two-year-olds in Scotland have been injected with the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine this year compared to 2001. The data shows that 87.6 percent of two-year-olds were immunized with the vaccine this year, an increase over last year's 86.6 percent. However, Scotland's health officials cautioned that immunization levels should exceed 90 percent to provide sufficient protection.
