About 8 million children in Ghana will receive vaccinations against poliomyelitis and measles thanks to a $780,000 Japanese grant to the country through UNICEF's "Project for Infectious Diseases Prevention for Children." The grant will provide syringes, safety boxes, 2.8 million doses of measles vaccine, and 4.5 million oral polio vaccine doses.
