Louis W. Sullivan, MD

President Emeritus, Morehouse School of Medicine (Co-chair)

Dr. Louis Sullivan holds numerous professional affiliations, which include the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association, the Atlanta Medical Association, the Medical Association of Atlanta, the Medical Association of Georgia and the Georgia State Medical Association. Dr. Sullivan has been board certified in Internal Medicine and in Hematology. He is also the recipient of many honorary degrees and civic awards.

Louis W. Sullivan, M.D. was the dean and president of the Morehouse School of Medicine from July 1982 to July 1, 2002. He is now President Emeritus. From July 1988-1993, he took a brief hiatus from his presidency to serve as the Secretary of Health and Human Services for the Bush Administration.

Dr. Sullivan graduated magna cum laude from Morehouse College and earned his medical degree, cum laude from Boston University.
