Stanley A. Gall, M.D., FACOG, is the Donald E. Baxter Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Gall serves as President and Chairman of the Board of the University Gynecologic and Obstetrical Foundation, Inc. and is Chairman of the Board of the Marie Woodson Foundation, which funds fellowship stipends. Before joining the faculty at the University of Louisville, Dr. Gall was a faculty member at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Duke University Medical Center, and the University of Miami Medical Center.
Dr. Gall has held several positions in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, including the ACOG representative to the Residency Review Committee and Chair of the Committee for the Scientific Program at the Annual Clinical Meeting. Dr, Gall is currently ACOG’s representative to the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He is also the Chairman for ACOG District V and is a member of the ACOG Executive Board. Dr,. Gall is also a past president of the Infectious Disease Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Gall is credited with over 116 publications in peer review journals, more than 60 abstracts and over 50 book chapters.
