Immunization
Information Resources
The National Network for
Immunization Information—a special vaccine initiative of the
Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), the Pediatric
Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS), the American Academy of
Pediatrics (AAP), and the American Nurses Association
(ANA)—is designed to serve as a source of complete and
comprehensive information on vaccination and
vaccination-related issues for parents, health care
professionals and the media.
Soon the National Network for
Immunization Information will launch a website full of informative
materials. In the meantime, the National
Immunization Program at the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention is a comprehensive and reliable resource for
people seeking information about immunization. Hotline:
800-CDC-SHOT (800-232-7468).
